Step 1: View Active Hosting Packages #
- In the dashboard, navigate to Services / Hosting.
- Here you will see a list of all your active hosting packages. Each package entry shows:
- The plan name (e.g., Starter, Business, Enterprise)
- The current status (Active, Suspended, or Pending)
- Renewal date and billing cycle
- Any addons or extra features linked to the package
- You can click on any hosting package to see more details about its resources, such as storage space, bandwidth, and email accounts.
Step 2: Upgrade or Downgrade a Plan #
- Select the hosting package you want to modify.
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade.
- You’ll see available options to move to a higher or lower plan depending on your needs.
- Review the pricing differences, payment period, and included features for the new plan.
- Confirm your selection and complete the checkout if any additional payment is required.
- Once processed, the new plan will take effect immediately or at the start of your next billing cycle, depending on the plan type.
Step 3: Access DirectAdmin #
- From the hosting package details page, click Login to DirectAdmin.
- DirectAdmin is your hosting control panel where you can manage your website and technical settings, including:
- File Manager – Upload, delete, or organize website files.
- Email Accounts – Create or manage email addresses linked to your domain.
- Databases – Manage MySQL databases and users.
- DNS Settings – Edit domain DNS records.
- Once you finish, always log out of DirectAdmin to keep your hosting account secure.
Tip: DirectAdmin is a powerful tool, changes here can affect your website’s functionality. Only modify settings if you’re confident or follow a guide.
