Step 1: View Active Hosting Packages #

  • In the dashboard, navigate to Services / Hosting.
  • Here you will see a list of all your active hosting packages. Each package entry shows:
    • The plan name (e.g., Starter, Business, Enterprise)
    • The current status (Active, Suspended, or Pending)
    • Renewal date and billing cycle
    • Any addons or extra features linked to the package
  • You can click on any hosting package to see more details about its resources, such as storage space, bandwidth, and email accounts.

Step 2: Upgrade or Downgrade a Plan #

  • Select the hosting package you want to modify.
  • Click Upgrade/Downgrade.
  • You’ll see available options to move to a higher or lower plan depending on your needs.
  • Review the pricing differences, payment period, and included features for the new plan.
  • Confirm your selection and complete the checkout if any additional payment is required.
  • Once processed, the new plan will take effect immediately or at the start of your next billing cycle, depending on the plan type.

Step 3: Access DirectAdmin #

  • From the hosting package details page, click Login to DirectAdmin.
  • DirectAdmin is your hosting control panel where you can manage your website and technical settings, including:
    • File Manager – Upload, delete, or organize website files.
    • Email Accounts – Create or manage email addresses linked to your domain.
    • Databases – Manage MySQL databases and users.
    • DNS Settings – Edit domain DNS records.
  • Once you finish, always log out of DirectAdmin to keep your hosting account secure.

Tip: DirectAdmin is a powerful tool, changes here can affect your website’s functionality. Only modify settings if you’re confident or follow a guide.
